Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Claim Site Live is operated by Game Up High LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are a contract between you and us. By placing an order or using claimsitelive.com you agree to them and to our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What we provide
We register a domain name for you, build a simple website for your business, and host it. You can see a preview of the site before you pay. Features may change over time. We do not guarantee that any particular domain name will be available when you order.
3. Your order and your details
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract, or be authorized to act for your business.
- The details you give us, including the domain owner (registrant) details, must be accurate and kept up to date. Domain registration rules require this, and false details can cost you the domain.
- You will receive confirmation emails at the address you provide. Keep it working.
4. Domain names
- You are the registrant of the domain name registered for you. We act as your agent to register it through our registrar partner.
- Domains are registered for the term shown at checkout. The domain is also subject to the rules of ICANN, the registry for that extension, and our registrar. These can change and can require verification of your email address. A domain may be suspended if verification is not completed.
- You are responsible for your domain name and for what it is used for. Registering a name does not give you trademark rights, and you must not register a name that infringes someone else's rights.
- Your domain is renewed each year as part of your plan (see section 7). If your plan ends, we do not renew the domain, and it can expire and be lost.
- You can ask us to help transfer your domain to another registrar. Registry rules, such as a 60-day lock after registration, may apply.
5. Your website and content
- You own the content you provide. You give us a license to store, copy, and display it as needed to host and operate your site and to show previews.
- Parts of your site may be written by artificial intelligence from the details you give us. AI output can be wrong or generic. You must review your site before relying on it. You are responsible for the content that appears on it, including its accuracy, and for having the right to use it.
- Sites are static pages. You may not use the service to run software, collect payments or sensitive data, or send email.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse to build or host a site, and may suspend or remove one, if we believe it breaks that policy or the law.
7. Your plan, automatic renewal, payment and refunds
- One plan. Your plan is an annual subscription. One price covers domain registration, hosting, SSL (HTTPS), the AI-drafted website, and use of the edit dashboard for the year. The price is shown in US dollars before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically every year, on the anniversary of your purchase, and we charge the card you used at checkout, until you cancel. Each renewal covers another year of the domain, hosting and dashboard. The renewal price is the price you paid at purchase. If we ever change the price for existing plans, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal it affects, and you may cancel before then.
- Reminders. We email you about 30 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount.
- Cancel any time. Open your dashboard and choose Billing, or email support@claimsitelive.com. Cancelling stops future charges. Your site and domain stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that your site goes offline and we will not renew the domain, so it can expire and be lost. If you want to keep the domain, ask us to help transfer it before your plan ends.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and we email you so you can update your card. If it still cannot be collected, your plan ends as described above.
- Before we register your domain, if we cannot complete your order (for example, the name was taken), we refund you in full automatically.
- After your domain is registered, the domain registration cost is paid out to the registry and is not refundable. If something else goes wrong with your setup, we will work with you to fix it. At our discretion we may refund the part of the price that is not the domain cost.
- Taxes may apply where required by law.
- If a payment is disputed or reversed, we may suspend the site and domain until it is resolved.
8. When your plan ends: grace periods, recovery and deletion
- Your site goes offline. When your plan ends, whether you cancelled or a renewal payment could not be collected, your website is replaced by a "temporarily unavailable" page. Your saved site and edit history are kept so you can bring them back.
- Up to 35 days after your domain expires: you can reactivate at your normal yearly price. Your site returns right away with all its history, and we renew your domain. Note that three days after a domain expires, the registrar may point it at a parking page, so your site on your own domain can stop showing before then; renewing restores it.
- From 35 to 60 days: your domain may be in the registry's redemption period. Where the registry allows it, we can recover it for your yearly price plus a one-time domain recovery fee, shown before you pay. We only keep that payment if the recovery succeeds. If the registry will not release the domain, we refund you in full and cancel the plan.
- After about 40 days: a domain that has not been renewed can be sold at auction, taken into the registrar's portfolio, or released for anyone to register. Recovery is then not guaranteed. Your website is still saved, and you can pick a new domain to put it on.
- After 90 days: we permanently delete your saved website, its edit history and the contact details you gave us for the domain. We keep only order and billing records, and abuse logs, as the law and our security needs require.
- Grace and redemption periods vary by domain extension and registry. The periods above describe the common .com, .net and .org rules, and can differ for other extensions or change when a registry changes its policy.
9. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or remove a site, or end your service, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect our customers and systems. We will tell you why when we can. Suspensions can be reversed if the problem is fixed. For serious or repeated abuse we may end service without a refund. You may stop using the service at any time; refunds are governed by section 7, and what happens to your site and domain afterwards by section 8.
10. Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep sites online but do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for outages of the internet, registries, or other providers we depend on. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the change.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Orange County, California have jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
