Refund and cancellation policy
This page explains what happens to your money if something goes wrong or you change your mind. It is part of our Terms of Service (see section 7 there). Claim Site Live is a service of Game Up High LLC.
If we cannot register your domain
Your payment is taken first and your domain is registered right after. If we cannot complete the registration (for example, the name was registered by someone else a moment earlier), we refund you in full automatically and cancel your plan. You do not need to ask. The money goes back to the card you paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
After your domain is registered
Registration costs are paid out to the domain registry and cannot be recovered, so the domain registration cost is not refundable once your domain has been registered. If something else goes wrong with your setup, we will work with you to fix it, and at our discretion we may refund the part of the price that is not the domain cost.
Cancelling your plan
You can cancel at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard, or by emailing support@claimsitelive.com. Cancelling stops future charges. We do not refund the year you have already paid for, but your website and domain stay active until the end of that year. After that your site goes offline and we do not renew the domain.
Renewals
Your plan renews each year at the same price until you cancel. We email you about 30 days before every renewal with the date and the amount, so you can cancel first if you do not want to continue. If you believe a renewal was charged in error, email support@claimsitelive.com and we will review it.
Bringing back a site after your plan ended
If your plan ended, you can reactivate it from your dashboard. In the window where a domain needs special recovery, a one-time domain recovery fee is shown before you pay. If the registry will not release the domain, we refund everything you paid for that recovery in full. The full timeline is in section 8 of the Terms.
Problems with a charge
Please email support@claimsitelive.com before contacting your bank, so we can fix it quickly. Include the email address you used and the domain name.
